Generating Orders in C-PO Application
In the C-PO application, users can effortlessly generate sales or purchase orders based on specific criteria. Whether it's initiating a sale or making a procurement, the process is streamlined to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Let's delve into the steps required to generate orders seamlessly:
- Selection Process:
Within the contract interface, users are presented with a list of available lines, each representing a potential item for inclusion in the order. To choose specific items for the order, users simply click on the checkbox corresponding to the desired line(s). This enables selective inclusion based on individual requirements. Alternatively, for bulk operations, users can opt to 'Select all' or 'Deselect all' available lines. This functionality proves especially useful when dealing with numerous items not previously associated with any generated orders.
- Initiation of Order Generation:
Once the desired lines are selected by the user, the next step involves triggering the order generation process. This is achieved by clicking on the prominently placed 'Generate order' button. It acts as the catalyst for transforming the selected items into a structured order format.
- Order Preview and Export:
Following the initiation, the selected lines are supplemented with a 'View Order' column, adorned with a view icon. Clicking on this icon provides users with a comprehensive preview of the generated order in HTML format. This preview functionality ensures that users can meticulously review the order before finalization. Additionally, users have the option to export the order in XLSX format for further analysis or external use. This can be accomplished by clicking on the export icon conveniently located in the 'Export Order' column.
Conclusion:
The process of generating orders within the C-PO application is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly. By providing comprehensive selection options, streamlined order initiation, and versatile preview/export functionalities, users can efficiently navigate the complexities of procurement and sales operations.
